ABOUT
Thomas Allen Jr.
KCK
I make art because I’m pulled to it. I like finding patterns, following ideas, and seeing what shows up along the way. Some of it comes from good times, some from bad. Most of it is somewhere in between. I just keep working until it feels alive.
The collection is inspired by my surroundings. The pursuit of knowledge is reflected throughout much of the work.
I look at this research as a form of art too. Mathematics gives me another way to explore structure, geometry, patterns, and relationships—not just to calculate them, but to see them differently.
Every artwork is one of one. No prints are produced.
The work can be viewed in person at A Place In Time Antique Mall, Olathe, Kansas.
